Prices
All prices are including VAT when it is applicaple .Some countries charge customs fees. These customs fees will be paid by the customer. HOUSE BY THE SEA will inform our customers about these possible local charges to the best of our knowledge.
HOUSE BY THE SEA reserves the right to change its prices and manifest errors are non-binding.
Payments
All payments on the website are made through the electronic payment system of Stripe.
Its possible to pay by bank transfer as well, the banking details will be on your order confirmation.
Delivery
Your order will be shipped within two business days after receiving your payment. If an article is out of stock, you will be notified immediately. Delivery times vary between 2 to 12 business days, depending on your location. We ship your order using the transportation services of DHL or by container if time is on your side.
You will receive an e-mail containing the tracking number, so you can trace your parcel at all times.
Delays in shipping: We do our utmost to deliver your order in time. If deliveries delay, please contact us immediately.
Shipping Fees
All prices are excluding shipping fees. Shipping charges are added to the order and are paid by the customer. These charges are calculated by weight and/or dimensions of the parcel.

Articles Not Collected
HOUSE BY THE SEA cannot be held responsible for parcels not received or collected. In case parcels are not collected, they will be sent back to us. We are not responsible for items shipped back to us. We will charge the customer again for sending the package a second time if a parcel has not been received or collected on the first shipping. Please consider writing an alternative address like your work address instead of your home address.
100% Satisfaction
HOUSE BY THE SEA strives for 100% satisfaction of its customers. If one or more articles are not to your satisfaction after receiving them, you hold the right to notify us within 14 days and send it back to us. If you do not notify us within the aforementioned time frame, the items are considered sold. The items must be undamaged and shipped to us in its original packaging. Sending the item back to us is at your own expense. We will refund the purchase price of the items within 7 days after receiving the returned goods. Purchase price means the purchase amount of the item minus the original shipping charges.

Complaints and Defects
Our parcels are packed with the greatest care, and are sent with insured postal services from DHL.
Should damage occur during transport, we will replace or refund the damaged item.
To start a claim, we must open a case with the courier services within 5 days.
Please follow the procedure below strictly:
Send us an email to notify us of the damage (sales@housebythesea.shop)
Send us pictures of the damage within 5 days
- Picture of the outside of the box (with visible bar code)
- Picture(s) of the inside of the box (packing material included)
- Picture(s) of the damaged item
We will send you a return label so you can send us back the item free of charge
We replace the damaged item, or if you prefer, we proceed with a refund.
Personal Data
Your personal data is saved to the Customer Relation Management system of HOUSE BY THE SEA to process your order. HOUSE BY THE SEA uses your personal data for internal marketing use only, i.e. for sending you newsletters. Your personal data will not be forwarded or sold for marketing purposes to any third party.
Liability
Disputes are to be solved in mutual consultation wherever possible. EU law is applicable to the terms and conditions. HOUSE BY THE SEA cannot be held responsible for mistakes, defects or loss of income by using this website.
